I currently work at King College in Bristol, TN. I will be starting the MBA program there on January 14, 2009. Through this blog I will discuss and share ideas that I discover throughout the program, but I will also be talking about technology and how it can help businesses that fully use it to their full potential.  Their will also be code hints and tutorials as I discover things that I find usefully and feel others might want to know as well.

The shortend version of my background

I have been working in the IT/Programming field professionally for 5 1/2 years now. My first job was with Ntara inc. I learned so much while working here it is insane but I am deeply thankful for the experience and all the people that I worked with during my three years. Then I had to make the difficult decision to move my career to King College, but just like working at Ntara I am learning a lot, but more importantly I am gaining leadership skills. While I am the Database Manager at King College I am also the Team Leader for the programming side of IT. Its a small team but it is a talented and dedicated team I would not change for the world.

For the last two years I have been spending most of my free time remodeling a house my wife and I purchased in spring 2006. Now that I have completed the house and we have actually sold it, with a lose – flipping is not easy trust me, we have purchased a new home we plan to settle down in. If nothing else with the remodel I think I discovered there are better and more productive ways for me to spend my free time. First goal is get through this MBA. Once that is complete going to look into putting my knowledge from my MBA and my background with technology and programming to use!
